How we use virtual reality
Providing the immersive sensation of actually being inside a home makes it easier to communicate design intent clearly.
We know it can be tough to really grasp spatial relationships and scale from a 2D rendering. Virtual reality offers a more complete perspective and can evoke a positive reaction in much the same way that physical architecture can. Stop into our office to see for yourself…it’s pretty amazing!
Your home is often the biggest financial investment you will make in your lifetime. When you build a home from the ground up, there’s an inherent risk the home will not work for your day to day life in the way that you had hoped it would.
With virtual reality, we bring design to life and provide the uncanny experience of actually standing in the house. Virtual reality allows us to feel and review the proportions and scale of the space while a project is still in the design phase.
Renderings
Three dimensional renderings are another tool we use to bring our designs to life during the design phase. We use actual photos of the site and materials to give our renderings a realistic look. Often, we’ll prepare multiple renderings to assist in the selection of colors or materials.
