Project Architect

Tom is a hands-on guy who has always been interested in how things work, and his design-build background makes him invaluable in determining the constructability of our projects. His meticulous 3D construction drawings show review boards, contractors, and clients our exact design intent. His easy manner makes connection with people around him effortless, and his skills onsite are greatly appreciated by everyone who works with him.

His thoroughness (he would say doggedness) ensures that a Frederick + Frederick house is built according to the exact design intent and to the highest possible standards. He especially relishes the final details that really bring our projects home.

Tom joined the Frederick + Frederick team in May of 2013. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson (Go Tigers!) and a Bachelor of Architecture from UNC Charlotte. Tom currently serves on the Town of Port Royal Design Review Board.
